A Chatham woman faces charges after someone slipped into a man’s home and damaged some of the man’s belongings.
Police were called shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday morning over the reported mischief.
According to police, an investigation revealed that while the complainant, a 32-year-old male from Chatham, was out of his home, someone got into his residence and intentionally damaged several of his personal belongings. Further investigation also revealed that the accused admitted to causing the damage.
Windsor Police Service located and arrested the accused on Princess Street in Windsor and handed her over to Chatham-Kent police.
A 32-year-old Chatham woman is charged with mischief.
