High fundraising at high tea

Music, food and a raffle were part of the event held to raise funds for Acceptional Riders program. Founded in 1992, Acceptional Riders helps disabled children and adults through equine therapy. More than 100 guests attended, helping raise in excess of $8,000 on June 17 at TJ Stables’ High Tea.

The funds will help support the Acceptional Riders program at TJ Stables.

Members of the Acceptional Riders program were on hand as well.

There were performances by the Sisters of Choice to go with the afternoon tea and lunch, as well as carriage rides, and more.

Many in attendance dressed up for the occasion, as an ode to afternoon teas enjoyed by the high society of Britain nearly two centuries ago.
