A Tilbury man is up on charges after police say he brought intoxication and a machete to an argument recently.
Chatham-Kent police responded to a report of a neighbour dispute early Tuesday evening on Canal Street West in Tilbury.
Police say one of the arguing neighbours was drunk and sported a machete, and that the man had damaged a door, threatened a resident and tried to gain entry.
A 42-year-old Tilbury man is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief, breaking and entering and assault with a weapon.
