
A Chatham man is facing multiple charges in the wake of what police say was a drunken, angry outburst Friday night.
Police got the call shortly after 10:20 p.m. for a report of a disturbance at a residence in Chatham.
Officers arrived and spoke to both parties. Police say the officers determined the man involved was intoxicated.
Further investigation revealed historic threats and a prior incident involving a weapon.
As a result, a Chatham man, 53, faced charges of uttering threats to cause bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
