It was a rather sad weekend on Chatham-Kent roads in terms of boozing and cruising, as Chatham-Kent police say they arrested four people for impaired driving in four separate incidents over the weekend.

It began on Fairview Line on Friday evening, shortly before 8 p.m. Police were called for a vehicle stopped at a stop sign, and the driver appeared to be unconscious, with tin foil in his lap.

Police investigated and said the guy in the driver’s seat appeared to be impaired by drugs. Tests showed the man was over the legal blood-alcohol limit.
