Wind gust leads to arrest

An angry co-worker, upset over damage to his car, is charged with uttering threats.

The situation arose at a local north-end restaurant where an employee accidentally caused minor damage to a colleague’s vehicle due to a gust of wind pushing her car door, police say.

In response to the incident, the colleague became agitated and threatened to assault the employee, police say.

The police were notified, and the individual making the threats was subsequently arrested.

A 32-year-old Chatham man has been charged with uttering threats.
