A Thunder Bay man is $65,200 richer as the winner of the Igniting Healthcare Holiday 50/50.
Matthew Baumann’s number came up in the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation fundraiser draw Jan. 9.
The goal of the 50/50 is to raise money to purchase a new fluoroscopy machine for the hospital’s imaging department.
Ironically, it’s the second lottery type win for Baumann in a year’s time, and he’s planning to use part of the winnings for a trip to Europe this summer.
