Austin Plowers is among an elite group that will be patrolling our snowy roads this winter.
The name is one of six that were named winners in the annual snow-plow-naming contest held by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Skip the Ditches, Plow Patrol, Taylor Drift, Snowtorious B.I.G. and the Big LePlowski were also named as winners.
Mayor Darrin Canniff said the community really got into it this year.
“It’s truly heartening to witness the creativity and engagement of our citizens in naming our snow plows,” he said in a media release. “This contest exemplifies the strong sense of community we cherish, where everyone plays a role in shaping our shared experiences.”
