Accident witnesses sought

The Chatham-Kent Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a motor vehicle collision that occurred Oct. 5 at approximately 5:40 p.m.

The incident took place at the intersection of McNaughton Avenue and Gillard Street in Wallaceburg.

The collision involved a cyclist and a silver or grey car. The vehicle’s driver fled the scene immediately after the incident.

The cyclist sustained minor physical injuries and sought medical attention at a local hospital.

Chatham-Kent police ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information about the driver involved to come forward. Police say your assistance is crucial in helping bring closure to the victim and ensuring that justice is served.
