$6.1M in pot seized in Blenheim; two charged

A Blenheim man is one of two people facing charges after Chatham-Kent police recently confiscated an estimated $6.1 million in marijuana.

Police say officers executed a warrant at 34 Story Street in Blenheim on Sept. 8.

The officers seized an estimated 6,100 cannabis plants in various stages of growth inside an industrial building.

A Blenheim man, 40, and a Toronto man, 41, are charged with cultivating illegal cannabis.
