Summer reading contest returns

When it comes to reading and the season, books and pizza go together in the Chatham-Kent Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program.

Borrowing items from any branch, qualifies a patron to enter to win one of 12 Pizza Prize Packs, with each one featuring a gift certificate to a local pizza restaurant.

Interested readers 16 years and older can get started by picking up an Adult Summer Reading punch card. After three check outs, your punch card becomes a ballot in the contest. The more you borrow, the more chances you have to win.

Library staff want to encourage those who don’t have a card to drop by and get one or sign up for a virtual card online by visiting ckpl.ca/virtualcards. Virtual users are also allowed to participate to win a pizza prize pack.

The contest runs until Aug. 31.

To find out more about a host of other programs this summer check out ckpl.ca.
