The search for a missing Merlin area woman ended in tragedy Monday.
The body of Debra Parker, 69, was discovered more than a day after she went missing.
This incident is now being handled by the coroner’s office. At this time, Chatham-Kent police say foul play is not suspected.
Parker was last seen about 8 a.m. Sunday.
