No one was injured in a $200,000 house fire in Wallaceburg shortly after midnight.

Chatham-Kent Fire officials say smoke alarms alerted the residents of 129 Bruce St. of the fire and they were able to get out of the house.

Crews from Station 3 Wallaceburg and Station 2 Chatham attacked the fire.

Officials say it was quickly doused, but not before the home suffered an estimated $200,000 in damages.

The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
