Editor: A while back when the idea of iodine pills was brought up for residents of Southern Ontario in the event of a nuclear issue, people probably thought it was bizarre.
Nobody seems to know much about the pills anymore and if they are just stored in a basement somewhere unavailable if really needed.
Putin moving the clock hands forward a bit on the threat of a nuclear issue now makes the idea of those pills a bit more relevant.
Somebody may have a crystal ball.
