Robbery, assault charges
Chatham-Kent police say a man is facing a slew of charges in the wake of an argument yesterday on Park Avenue West in Chatham.
As he left the area, police say the man was involved in a motor-vehicle collision.
He then continued to Riverview Drive and the argument continued, police say.
At this time, the man pulled a knife and took the keys to another vehicle.
Police arrested the man as he headed towards a nearby apartment.
He is facing charges of assault, robbery, weapons dangerous and assaulting police.
Recycling mischief
A man was found throwing recycling bins all over the road on King Street in Wallaceburg yesterday.
The man was arrested for mischief and transported to Chatham-Kent headquarters.
It turns out the man was currently on a release for mischief one week earlier, police say.
