It was a weekend of good news on the local COVID-19 front.
We are down to two-dozen active cases, as we had only three reported between Friday mid-morning and Tuesday morning, with 14 resolved.
On top of that, two people left hospital, leaving eight local residents at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance battling the virus.
Provincially, the news is good as well, with 1,039 reported new cases over the past 24 hours, the lowest daily total since March 6. The seven-day weekly average is down to 1,693.
