Curbside service for libraries

The buildings may still be closed to the public for now, but Chatham and Wallaceburg’s libraries are now offering curbside pickup.

Library staff say the pickup service is by appointment only.

In the near future, CKPL will expand curbside service to Ridgetown and Tilbury branches. More details and information will be coming shortly.

Precautions will be in practice to keep everyone safe. If you are unwell, library personnel ask that you cancel your appointment and keep library materials at home for a two-week period. No library fines are being charged during curbside service.

Visit CKPL’s website for information on placing new holds on library materials and how to book your timeslot for pickup. If you don’t have Internet access, you can call CKPL for information at 519.354.2940 – just note with limited staff, phones will be answered as time permits.

CKPL’s virtual library continues to be available any time by visiting www.ckpl.ca/download.
