A report of a suspicious man yesterday morning in Chatham led to several charges against a local man.

Chatham-Kent police say they received the call just before 8 a.m. Thursday of the man on Emma Street in Chatham.

Officers located the man and police say they learned he was wanted for failing to attend court in September.

A search yielded a quantity of crystal meth, fentanyl, two boxes of .22 cal. ammunition and a counterfeit $100 bill.

A 40-year-old Chatham man is charged with unauthorized possession of ammunition, possession of counterfeit money and two counts of drug possession.
