The Lord Selkirk Bridge is open again – a week earlier than anticipated.
Closed to vehicular traffic earlier this month due to a mechanical problem, repairs were completed ahead of schedule.
The bridge will remain inoperable for marine traffic requiring the bridge spans to open.
While the bridge was closed and the detour was in place, the abandoned railway tracks on McNaughton Avenue were removed and the roadway was repaved.
