Chatham-Kent police allege a Windsor man beat up his pregnant Chatham girlfriend early this morning.
About 3 a.m., officers responded to a domestic complaint at a Chatham residence.
Police say the officers learned a man assaulted his pregnant girlfriend during a verbal dispute. He also had damaged the woman’s cell phone earlier in the week during another argument.
A 22-year-old Windsor man is charged with mischief, assault and overcome resistance by attempting to choke.
