One student had to be taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries following an accident in East Kent yesterday afternoon involving a school bus.
Chatham-Kent police say the crash took place about 3 p.m. Thursday on Longwoods Road between West Bothwell Road and Zone Road 9, when a pickup truck and the bus collided.
The driver of the truck, a 23-year-old Chatham man, is charged with careless driving.
Damage is estimated at $45,000.
