Applications are now being accepted for the annual

Rob McLandress Make a Dream Come True Fund.

The fund, which is administered by Community Living Chatham-Kent, provides two $1,000 awards to persons who have an intellectual disability to assist them to make a dream a reality.

The awards are in keeping with community Living Chatham-Kent’s vision of Discovering Dreams, Connecting Lives, and are made possible through a bequest to Community Living Chatham-Kent by the late Father James Williams, former pastor at Blessed Sacrament Church in Chatham.

Father Williams was on ongoing supporter of the work of Community Living Chatham-Kent and his bequest was made in honour of Rob McLandress.

Applications will be accepted from now through March 31 and the awards will be presented in May during Community Living Month.

Application forms can be found on the Community Living Chatham-Kent website (www.clc-k.ca) or by calling (519) 352-1174.
