A Wallaceburg woman faces charges after a man was assaulted in that community last night.
Police say about 9 p.m., officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance, and that a man had been assaulted by his common-law wife.
Through investigation, it was revealed this wasn’t the first time he’d been the victim of domestic violence, police say.
A 56-year-old Wallaceburg woman was taken into custody and charged with two counts of assault.
