A domestic disturbance in Tilbury Monday led to charges against a local woman.
Police say a man called police about 6 p.m. last night to report he’d been the victim of an assault.
The man reported he and his girlfriend had been arguing earlier in the day, when it got violent and he alleges the woman hit him in the head with a wooden statue. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police located the woman about 10:30 p.m.
A 21-year-old Tilbury woman is charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
