The Chatham-Kent Public Library is offering new workshops, the latest of CKPL’s “Maker Space” activities. These do-it-yourself programs are meant to inspire and engage with youth in the community.

These new workshops include the “Cardboard Challenge” and CKPL’s new collection of LittleBits – small electronics that snap together with magnets, designed to make prototyping electronics fun and easy.

These workshops are free, but space is limited. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and can be done by calling your local branch

The workshop dates are as follows:

Chatham Branch, Dec. 29 from 6-7 p.m.

Blenheim Branch, Dec. 30 from 3-4 p.m.

Dresden Branch, Jan. 2 from 2-3 p.m.

Wallaceburg Branch, Jan. 3 from 11-12 p.m.

Tilbury Branch, Jan. 6 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Ridgetown Branch, Jan. 13 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
