Synchronized skating hits Chatham-Kent big time March 29 and 30 when the skating clubs of the Kent Region Skating Council will host the Bernie Deveau/Bert Winfield Synchronized Skating Invitational competition in Dresden.
A total of 54 teams from across the province will take part in the competition, which takes place at the Lambton-Kent Memorial Arena. Included are the Maple City Ice Crystals from Chatham, Patterned Energy from Tilbury, and the Bothwell Blades from Bothwell. Approximately 740 skaters will take part.
