Lanes and actual stretches of Highway 401 will be closed temporarily today as the OPP will oversee scores of vehicles being towed out of the ditches and median along that highway.
Chatham-Kent OPP say the westbound 401 has the passing lane closed east of Victoria road to clear space to vehicles can be pulled out of the median.
About noon, both westbound lanes will be closed from Bloomfield Road to Queens Line for about two hours to allow tow trucks easier and safer access to removed the vehicles stranded along that stretch of highway.
