The Thames Art Gallery will showcase a new exhibit starting this month, “Orford: Insular Territory.”
This multi-sensory and multi-disciplinary project is an exhibition by Montreal artist Genevieve Chevalier that focuses on a provincial park.
Orford questions the conceptual boundaries we have placed around the natural world.
The artist reception for the exhibit will take place Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. at the gallery, located at 75 William St. N. in Chatham, coinciding with the opening of the fifth annual winter ARTcrawl. Chevalier will be on hand to discuss her work.
The project will be on display until March 9.
