As the heat of summer continues to lay across Chatham-Kent like a wet blanket, a reminder to residents at that all municipal splash pads are open.
Outdoor pools will open this coming Sunday.
Municipal officials said they will again be offering free recreation swims and free parent-and-tot swims all summer long at outdoor and indoor pools run by C-K.
Meanwhile, the current heatwave is expected to continue to deliver hot and humid conditions until Wednesday at the earliest.
