Editor: My parents, and many other European families, migrated to Canada because they wanted a better and safer future for their families.
They brought with them skills, knowledge, culture and religion which blended in with the Canadians.
They worked, played, raised families to respect our laws and neighbours, and build a better and stronger Canada.
Where is this Canada today? Respect for all the values that we enjoyed in the past is gone.
We are wusses.
Punishment is feared. Rehab is a joke.
