An evening ride on an ATV has resulted in multiple charges against a Thamesville man.
OPP report that one of their officers spotted a man riding an ATV on Kent Bridge Road near McKay’s Corners Thursday evening about 7:40 p.m.
Police say the officer pulled the man over, as he was not wearing a helmet. But that was just the beginning.
The officer spotted an open container of alcohol, police say, and believed the man was inebriated.
He was arrested, and by the end of the night faced numerous charges.
A 57-year-old Thamesville man is charged with impaired driving, driving while prohibited, three counts of driving while under suspension, driving without a helmet, driving with open liquor, failing to provide insurance and failing to apply for a permit to become an owner.
