Disturbing behaviour at hospital 

A Wallaceburg woman faces charges following an outburst at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in Chatham.

Police got the call about 3:50 a.m. Thursday morning.

An officer located the woman yelling and screaming profanities outside the hospital, police say. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

A 48-year-old Wallaceburg woman was charged with causing a disturbance. She was held pending a bail hearing.

Domestic violence

An angry text landed a woman in hot water with the police on Wednesday.

At 9:24 a.m., police responded to Balmoral Road in Chatham for a disturbance.

Officers learned a woman texted the victim numerous times, commenting that she was going to cause him harm. When officers located the woman later in the day, she told officers she repeated her comments.

A 40-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats. She was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

Breach of probation

A family squabble led to the arrest of a local man Wednesday.

At 4:24 p.m., police responded to an apartment on Fifth Street in Chatham for a family dispute.

Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted on a warrant from an April 14 breach of probation investigation.

A 26-year-old Chatham-Kent man currently faces two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
