One man is in custody and another had to be taken to hospital following a fight in Ridgetown Friday night.
Chatham-Kent police got the call about 8 p.m. Friday after two men duked it out.
Through investigation, it was determined the two had engaged in a consensual physical scrap that left one party with serious injuries.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment and the other was arrested for aggravated assault and held pending a bail hearing.
Police say a person cannot consent to an aggravated assault, which leaves the victim wounded, maimed or disfigured.
