Weapons, drug charges
A disturbance at a residence on Tweedsmuir Avenue Thursday has led to weapons and drug trafficking charges against a 32-year-old woman.
Upon investigation, Chatham-Kent police say the woman, of no fixed address, brandished a weapon during a verbal argument.
Police say the suspect fled, but was located a short distance away in a vehicle.
According to police, when the woman was searched, officers discovered what is suspected to be fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia. Police say the weapon was not located.
Police have charged the woman with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Sibling assault
