A special Box Lunch fundraiser by Community Living Chatham-Kent is on tap.
The event will take place May 11 featuring a $10 Subway lunch delivered directly to the door of your business.
Lunch options include a six-inch veggie or turkey Subway sandwich with a bottle of water, a cookie and a bag of chips.
Deliveries will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
People may also sponsor a child’s lunch. Since the Box Lunch for Kids Event launched in 2019, free lunches were delivered to local schools across Chatham-Kent. Since then, the initiative has allowed the fundraiser to provide lunches to more than 4,000 students in every school board in the community.
