Failing to comply

The court documents said it all: Don’t go near your sister’s house. Yet did a man follow those instructions?

On July 29, the man was released from court with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was not to be within 50 meters of his sister’s residence in Chatham.

Last night, police located the man in close proximity to the residence.

A 42-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with his release conditions.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing
