A one-stop-shop for agriculture in Chatham-Kent is set to be launched online.
The Chatham-Kent agri development committee announced the website to council ahead of their grand opening and site launch Nov. 5
“We offer this to all of Chatham-Kent,” said Jamie McGrail, vice-chair of the group. “Use it as much as you can. This is a tool to show what Chatham-Kent has to offer.”
McGrail said the site will include agriculture business listings, event listings, featured content about local farmers and agriculturalists.
She added it is exciting that a lot of investment is going into the agricultural sector in Chatham-Kent.
“We’re not stale, we’re not stagnant, we’re moving forward and that’s a huge thing,” McGrail said.
The site will be located online at www.wegrowfortheworld.com.
