A Chatham woman died after a fatal car crash last night west of Chatham.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., a 46-year-old Chatham woman was driving eastbound on Grande River Line near Jacob Road in Pain Court when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Emergency crews attended, however lifesaving responses were unsuccessful. Due to the severity of the incident, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Management Section was called out and has taken over the investigation.
