Truck hits home in Ridgetown

For the second time in recent days, someone drove into a structure in Chatham-Kent.

On the weekend, it was a truck hitting a garage, while early this morning, it was another truck hitting a home in Ridgetown.

Police say just before 2 a.m. a truck left Erie Street South and struck a house.

No one was home at the time of the crash, and one person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Damage is pegged at $50,000.
