A W. Lewis Line house fire Wednesday morning has been ruled accidental according to the Chatham-Kent Police Service.
Firefighters from the former Dover Twp. and Tupperville area as well as police arrived at the home to find it partially engulfed shortly before noon.
Damage was initially set at $150,000, however, that figure has been upgraded to $550,000. Two vehicles in the home’s garage were destroyed as well as a portion of the structure and some contents.
There were no injuries.
