A man is in custody waiting for a bail hearing after a woman got beaten early this morning.
Police say a 27-year-old Chatham man faces assault charges in connection with this domestic incident.
Refused to leave
Late last night, police arrested a woman who just wouldn’t leave.
About 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a Grand Avenue residence where a woman was asked to leave, but refused.
A 32-year-old woman was charged for failing to leave when directed.
Twisted metal on Park Ave.
A three-vehicle crash on Park Avenue near Sass Road in Chatham yesterday was worse on the cars than on the drivers.
Police say the crash occurred about 11:30 a.m. Everyone involved declined medical attention.
Damage to the vehicles is estimated at $25,000.
An 86-year-old Wallaceburg man is charged with failing to yield.
