Chatham-Kent police, firefighters, EMS and OPP personnel are taking part in a blood donor clinic today under the moniker of Uniforms Unite to Save Lives.
The Uniforms effort is a month-long blood donor campaign. Local folks in uniform ask their peers and the public to roll up their sleeves and give blood to save lives.
Today, there is a blood donor clinic at the Spirit and Life Centre on Wellington Street from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
