A 40-year-old Pain Court man faces two charges of assault, mischief under $5,000 and forcible confinement after police responded to a call earlier this morning.
Police reported the man became involved in an argument with his girlfriend, refused to leave the home when asked and pinned the woman down when she attempted to leave, breaking her phone in the process.
The woman was eventually able to leave and called police. He is being held pending a bail hearing.
