The Chatham-Kent Minor Bantam Cyclones lived up to their name on the weekend, enjoying a whirlwind of success Saturday.

They hosted and flattened Lambton 8-0. Lucas Fancy led the way with three goals, while Cole Mackinnon had two, and Zachary Pepper, Sebastian Stubberfield and Josh Noah added singles.

Tristan Clark had the shutout between the pipes.

The gale-force offensive outburst turned into a summer breeze the next day, however, as the Cyclones managed just one goal in a 1-1 tie with Windsor. Jaycob White had the lone Chatham-Kent tally, while Nolan Dekoning was solid in net.
