Fire gutted a garage on Grande River Line Wednesday evening.
Crews from both Chatham fire stations got the call about 6:30 p.m. for a report of a fire at 7631 Grande River Line. They arrived to see flames pouring out of the open door of the building.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the blaze and kept it from spreading.
No one was hurt, but the garage and the two vehicles inside it were destroyed. Estimated loss is about $250,000.
The cause is undetermined.
