
Six people face drug trafficking charges following a drug bust in Chatham Thursday night.
Police raided a residence on Sarah Crescent in Chatham shortly after 6 p.m.
The raid yielded 354 grams of methamphetamine, 186 grams of cocaine, 69 grams of fentanyl, a loaded handgun, digital scales, packing materials, a debt list, cash and counterfeit cash.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs was more than $53,000.
Charged with three counts each of possession for the purposes of trafficking (for fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine) are four Chatham men, aged 20, 27, 34 and 36; a Chatham woman, 30, and a Brampton man, 27.
All are also charged with possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition, careless storage of a firearm, possession of counterfeit currency, and possession of hydromorphone.
