Why are you running?
I am running because I want to make a difference for the better in our community. I want to be a reflection of the people I hope to represent in Ward 7 and I hope to bring a little more transparency and common sense to council. I want to continue to make my momma and city proud.
What are the two biggest issues for the next term of council?
For me the big issues that I would like to hit head on are the drug problem we have in our city, and the homeless and encampment issues we are dealing with. We need to make our city safer for everyone. Our kids, our seniors, our residents and for the people that want to come and visit our city and see what we are all about; we need a safer Chatham-Kent.
What do you hope to achieve if elected?
I hope to make change for the better in our city. I also hope to bridge the communication gap between the people on council and the people we represent. I hope to make an impact that makes us all proud by putting all my words into swift action.
If elected, I will donate my 2027 council salary back into the community. I will let the community decide exactly where that money goes.
What skills and experience do you bring?
I bring a love and respect for our city and the people in it that is unmatched. I am from Ward 7, my kids’ flag football league is played in Ward 7 and I am a fighter that will fight for our ward, our city and the people in it.
My communication skills are some of my greatest assets and I feel that I will be able to thrive in any situation.
In 2025, I was nominated for Citizen of the Year in Chatham-Kent.
Chatham is my home. It’s where my heart is and where I belong.
