A pair of independent hip-hop artists with roots in Chatham will perform at The Fortress Sept. 12.
According to Clint Patrick, also known as the artist Pats, he’ll be stepping on stage with The Kyd, aka Shane Miller, to debut their first album, titled PK ALL DAY.
In a recent media release, Patrick said the two attended public school and high school together in Chatham. PK ALL DAY is the first project they’ve collaborated on – which to date has generated 150,000 streams.
The Sept. 12 show will be the first time they’ve performed the new tracks together live.
“To our knowledge, this is the largest independent hip-hop showcase Chatham has seen in years,” Patrick stated. “We are intentionally using this night to spotlight the city’s rising talent, bringing local artists Aidan Riley, 8right, and Nikko North$ide to the stage.”
Doors open at 8 p.m. with the show scheduled to start at 9 p.m. sharp. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Age restriction is 19 years and up.
