These motorcycle enthusiasts got their motors running, all right, to the tune of $20,000 for the Chatham Goodfellows.
The Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers rolled out a 50/50 fundraiser to benefit the Goodfellows, and, with 8,000 tickets sold, reached their goal.
Rob Hill won the draw. He purchased his ticket in Tilbury back in April.
The Cruisers, under the guidance of Nadine Giroux, who led this year’s endeavor, successfully sold out of their $5 tickets.
“We want to thank everyone that took time to purchase a ticket for their 50/50 draw and especially thank the group of awesome volunteers that gave countless hours to this incredible fundraising event,” Goodfellow Tim Haskell said on behalf of the organization’s board of directors. “We can’t thank you enough.”
