Chatham-Kent’s Riverview Gardens long-term care home has received an $813,700 boost from the provincial government to address future lifecycle projects at the seniors’ residence.
Council gave unanimous approval to the allocation at its May 11 meeting. Prior to the vote, West Kent Coun. Lauren Anderson said she wanted to give props to Riverview staff for their work on achieving the funding.
“It’s really nice to get some good news and getting some provincial funding for us to expand our programs is always really great,” Anderson said.
